24 year-old male from Logan, UT I'm an awesome Biological Engineering Grad Student that's going to smite the universe by defying the second law of thermodynamics with fuel made from pond scum. I am also the inventor of the mighty Earl Dew, and amazing Dr. Chai.
Hell, once I did the follow up phone call and the lady was super bitchy. She picked up and I started with the usual, "I submitted my resume a few days ago and wondering if it went through, and when I would hear back about the position." She was super short with me bordering on rude.
This is pretty much my entire experience. While not everyone is rude, most people really don't seem to care. It's hard for me to even mention that I'm still interested and passionate about the position when the employer basically brushes me off on the phone.
I should probably not take things so seriously, and continue to pursue even if the employer doesn't seem to care... But, I mean, how should I get excited about a job when the employer seems less than unexcited to talk to me?
Yeah I'm going to investigate all of that. I think we should be able to get away with a cheap plan that I wouldn't mind paying for. It's not like we'll be doing content creation or anything
Thankfully, I've been living in apartments for a few years and have quite a bit of furniture and kitchen stuff. I have plenty of stuff for cooking (Zac was very thoughtful and bought me a huge kitchen set for Christmas, too). Since my Mom is a real estate agent, when people move if they are selling furniture she always picks it over and buys the good stuff. I have a bed, couch, recliner, coffee table, desk with shelving units and bookshelves, a dresser, a kitchen table and chairs, a TV stand, TONS of little storage containers... I'm hoping this situation will give me a little boost over most of my peers when it comes to affording my rent.
I'm one of those people who is extremely accepting of people and was always taught that by my leaders, so I was totally surprised when I matured a little and found out how bigoted we were.
The thing about Dragon Age is that it was targeted directly at the PC crowd. Bioware made Baldur's Gate 1 & 2, and Neverwinter Nights which were strictly based on DnD and targeted at the harder core gamer. We had to wait 7 years between Neverwinter Nights 1 and Dragon Age and even 9 years between Baldur's Gate 2 and Dragon Age. I bet Dragon Age controlled like ass on 360 but the pedigree for that game came directly from the PC on which it was a Gem of a game.
Oh I agree, in fact I originally thought I was going to pick up the game for the PC before Sean decided he wanted to play it too. On the 360 side it was the first game I've played in a long time that made me year for some old school final fantasy turn by turn play.
