Forget RegretOr Life Is Yours To Missthat's a line from Rent: The musical, that i have taken as my new motto, there has been so much stuff in my life that i have regretted either doing or not doing... and recently i was thinking about that quote and i realised, i spend easily a quarter of my time thinking about all my regrets, failures and things i generally wish i hadn't done... and i figured that without those experiences i wouldn't be who i am today. so here it is... in bullet point form I Regret  Not putting more effort in at school Not doing university studies giving up on music Giving up on my chosen career path hiding true feelings from the ones i care about hiding true feelings from the ones i DON'T care about living a series of well-placed (and ingenious) lies lying falling out of favor with friends hiding emotion from myself never finishing the epic chronicle of the mighty Taron Kajar not telling people my real name... it's Daniel... or Dan! not putting in the effort i should with regard to my health spending so much time engrossed in alternate realities(WoW, Fable, F.E.A.R, Stargate, Supernatural, Superman etc)and the list continues |
