hard work pays offas of today, meaning the 14th, which technically isn't today anymore.....damn technicalities.the point of it is that i have a Masters degree in physics now. i have officially graduated. took me two years. and i took sooooo damn many extra credits of work. holy shit. most students wouldn't even take half the course load i had. but my prof liked to see me suffer, i suppose. but i managed a 3.36 cummulative GPA during my time here. i'm pretty proud of that. it was kind of sad going through the campus today doing my outprocessing. everyone made a huge fuss about me going. i've apparently become one of the most loved students here. not that it really surprises me to the point where i wouldn't believe something like that. but it's certainly nice to hear. professors and staff alike were asking for my home address and personal email so they could stay in touch, offering any and all the help they could if i ever needed it. i feel so loved. but now i'm free from classwork. at least for the time being. i'm searching around my new potential school to find a group that could use my experience. if all goes well, i could get into the spring semester of a PhD program, fully paid for like i was here. in the meantime, i'm just going to enjoy not having anything due or having meetings to go to. which is great because mara will be here on wednesday. wonderful timing, if you ask me. p.s. looks like i've been on the site for 4 years and 4 days now. doesn't seem like it's been that long. p.p.s. i graduated!!!!!!!!!! |
