Obligatory Comic Con Journal...

What I can tell you is that, for being absolutely free, it was a great waste of my time. I met some kewl artists, met an artist who does Deadpool covers (got one signed from him), and I snatched a Kurt Cobain action figure. It might also be my cheapest con: all the stuff I bought cost a grand total of $20.
What I did succeed at was card swapping. I showed off some of my webcomics from my past endeavors, and out of the bunch that I showed it to, I think I captivated 1-2 artists. I'll definitely be in touch with them.
