DroidWell, I just bought a Droid from Verizon, and I dont think that I could be happier. After having been a ATT customer for a while I decided to upgrade my phone and go for ATT flagship 'Cool' phone, the iPhone. Nothing super fancy, just the 3G 8gb model. I dont need anything better. After I ordered, paid, and was waiting to hear from them about my confirmation, I received a phone call that said my identity could not be confirmed. WTF? You have no issues taking my money currently, but cant confirm my identity? So the order was just canceled. No warning, no regrets, no chance to verify that I am who I am. So, yesterday I go to Verizon. The ID verification was a breeze, my monthly bill will be cheaper, the sales rep was nicer, and Im getting a Motorola Droid instead of an iPhone. Which for those that dont know was Time magazine's Gadget of the Year 2009. And to all the ATT and iPhone people out there, SUCK IT! I can run 6 apps at once, have native built in access to google maps, mail, nav, and more. I may not have Apple's app store, but oh well... I only need the free apps for things like Yahoo IM, a drink mixing app, and such things. FUCK YOU ATT! Your shitty service and inability to do something right has caused me to leave you. And as I said, I dont think I could be happier about my new phone service. FIRST IMPRESSION: FUCKING Awesome! Its like every button is an awesome button. Week One: Still an awesome phone. Calls are crystal clear. Super easy to use. Makes some of the coolest/wierdest sounds I have ever heard. Browsing is easy, running multiple apps is great, music quality through external speaker is surprisingly good. Sound on headphones is pleasing as well. And Verizon has been helpful every step of the way. |
