New year, new hopes! (New art!)

Contests?
OK All since Ive seen alot of people doing contests, and im just wondering, what if I dont have like 100 mod points to give away? what kind of a reward can i give? or if mod points, how do i get that many to give? LOL :)
I wanted to do a fun contest but before i go sticking my neck out i dont want to seem like a total noob, anyone able to fill me in here?

Ok, so I went out to the mall and stopped by Electronics Boutique.
They have this kinda like a used crap games rack, with really old games, such as... .. well.. i dunno but i saw a ton of old stuff, like the original Lawnmower Man game?
err heck there wasnt even really a new iteration, so no point saying original...
Most expensive game on the rack was 9.99 Cdn
So i picked out Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon.
brought it to the counter, they pulled out what they said was the game, (i trusted them and was distracted at the very moment they put the Cd in the jewel case.)
SO ANYWAYS
when i get home, i open it up and GUESS WHAT.
Its not Ghost Recon, its Ghost Recon: Desert Siege.
And know what? i cant run Desert Siege without the original GR. LOL

Just 'n I get out, they pull me back in
Yeah so get this. Ive been doing construction work for the past 4 years or so.
GREAT money, very hard and annoying work.
Now, I am in the labour union, and when a job runs out, (layoffs, due to lack of work), I get put back in the re-hire list for any company that is hiring from the union.
Normally it takes a few weeks to find something else. WELL Ive been waiting since FEBRUARY for something.
NOW I was finally fed up and decided to look for a job on my own, AND I GET ONE!
A job at RIM (reasearch in motion, makers of the "Blackberry" PDA), in their Repair division, and its air conditioned, i get to sit, work with electronics, its GREAT (Pay kinda stinks though but ehh id do it for the working conditions alone)
NOW 2 days after I start at RIM, I get a call from.. guess who.. THE UNION!
They've found some construction job for me! Yay!.... err not really, not when im trying to get out of the darn industry and get something safer/cooler/quiter/easier/more-relaxing'er
Its almost as if thE SECOND I take the initiative to change my life and get something going, then, THEN the things that were SUPPOSED to happen before, suddenly happen and propose a limited-time one-time-only opportunity for me that i just CANT refuse, but to get it i have to sacrifice the job I just wasted my good/trustworthy reputation to get. (had to beg to get this job and now i have to explain why im leaving it so quickly!)
I mean, same thing happened when i got THIS job, I was INCHES away from working at my friends store, I begged him for a job and finally got an interview with his head manager lined up, He even put in good word(s) for me and everything.
Then, I found out i was getting a job at RIM, so i had to explain what I was doing and why i was cancelling all that. (ruining his, and my reputations/words)
LOL What next, the second I get THIS job, NASA calls me and offers me something?
meh, if NASA wanted me Id go there hands-down anyways.

Been busy working several jobs at once, doing commission work for websites, while trying to maintain a Real job, but its rough when you have very little time left over for Halo2!

Have you tried out the new Halo2 maps? Ohmygod! FUN!
I haven't downloaded turf or sanctuary yet, but i think i might as well! The level designers really earned that pay raise!
Now all we need is to figure out when Gemini comes out, you know, that dark map featured in the movie...

Meanwhile, I was NOT accepted back to Seneca after applying a second time, i knew i wouldnt. Damn you fate, damn you! I was accepted last year but had to back out or else i would have to lose my car, and i needed it to get to campus daily. *sigh* just when we have a plan worked out and organized, i dont get accepted! Bah. oh well, theres always next year!

Helllo! I haven't given any news lately, but so far so good!
Been on EI for a few months, and yay to free money. But boo-urns to boredness... Ive been keeping sane with a bit of sketching and work on level design, etc...
BTW, heres the Karen picture, if you haven't seen it yet! Apparently its TOO SCANDALOUS for the gallery? *shrug*
