Tonight Movie Central......taught me two things.1. Coraline is a mad good film. I'd argue around as good as Up, but very different. 2. Angels & Demons is terrible. I've never seen a movie rely so heavily on two intelligent, informed people telling each other what they both already know in order to inform the audience. They also failed entirely at the Hassassin character, and dropped pretty much every genuinely dark aspect of the rather disturbing original plot. Almost everything that could have been good in the film was dropped. A worse adaptation than most. |
