Composing,,,So I'm asked by my music theory professor to compose or arrange a piece for concert band as a part of my Music Theory Honors Class. The best part is that the piece will be performed in my hometown. The upside is that I know the director (my dad) and the band, so I know who I'm working with. The downside is that, if this sucks, a lot of people who know me will know.So hopefully up to the challenge. Now if only I had an idea... |
