Old Crow Jengaship ShowA breakdown of where I stand with certain events.PAX EAST (Mar 25-28) Roadblock and Count3D are flying up to Philly and will drive up with me and Rocketwhore. Thursday, I'll probably sightsee a little, meet up with my cousin who's going to Boston College. From there, PAXDAMONEUM! An equal mix of panels, tables, and handing out business cards like pez candy. Trying to get a live JengaJam up and running. This one will be just a bit different from the others. Did I mention the entire staff of LNJJ (Oboe, Roadblock, and myself) will be there? This weekend is going to rule so hard. RvB Canwest (May 28-30) I am TRYING SO SO SO SO HARD to come to this. I've never been to Vancouver, never seen the Pacific Ocean with mine own eyes. Looking at flights, getting advice, just trying to get my finances in a row. Need a host, LOL? Various Cons I'm thinking of hitting up a convention a month, all within driving distance, to promote JengaJam and get my name out there a bit. RT Philly (October 9th?) Pretty much going to kick this into high gear post-PAX. I feel very good about our start last year. I'm looking at an early fall date (give everyone's wallet a chance to heal from the summer). Best guess? Early October. How many of you would be able to come down, either again or for the first time? I'll probably be doing a much more detailed journal on this in April, but I'm thinking I'll most likely use the same venue (International House). I won't have my own house to put people up in this year but I'll probably end up getting a Hotel in Philly for the weekend (just for the fun of it and so I don't have to drive 45 minutes each way) and splitting that with folks. In the meantime, if you live reasonably close and can put people up, you are a Godsend! People who sent me emails or private addresses, we'll be doing conference calls to help put this together for this year. And hey, we're doing sponsorships again, too, so if you've got a project to promote, let us know and we can set up a table for you at a fraction of the cost of a con table. That covers that, I think. |
