20 year-old male from LOLumbus Ga I'm human I do mess up from time to time. I'm a full time worker and full time college student. I try and associate with morally affluent people with similar interests, so unless we've talked for sometime don't expect me to accept your friend request- I ran CC in high school and got an IB Diploma. I'm training for a triathlon this Spring and otherwise preparing myself to be an officer in the United States Army.
Nothing new, here. Staying busy with school- since I don't work anymore my only source of money is scholarship which does little more than pay for school. Still no luck in getting contracted with ROTC so no money there, but apparently they can't pay me but they can send me to the Northern Warfare Training Center in Alaska to freeze my nuts, ruck over a mountain and then a glacier, and in the meanwhile tie a metric fuckton of knots for a few weeks this Summer. Potentially going to Air Assault school as well, that one is still up in the air and my slot hasn't been confirmed by our cadre.
Gonna spend the majority of the weekend competing on Ft. Benning in the Army Marksmanship Unit's All Army Small Arms Competition in the pistol class under the cadet division again this year. Should be another good learning experience and another opportunity to immerse myself with the real Army and not just be networking with other cadets (which is normally the case for our brigade level FTXs)
Had my first legitimate accident in my 5 years of driving about a week ago- learned that sliding on ice is different than hydroplaning- lost control of the car and the rear end went into the other lane so I tried steering into the direction of the slide and at some point my rear tires (was driving my mom's mustang at the time) caught and I went straight forward (diagonally across the road and in the ditch), my windshield got battered by the branches of one tree, and after dropping in the ditch there was a 4 foot rise to the fence I hit this smull spur of dirt that had my tires go up and direct me along the ditch (which snatched the steering wheel I was still holding straight and hurt my wrists like a mother) rather than straight into the wall- got pulled out by a guy with a truck and some webbing- sadly as he was pulling me out the cops showed up and wrote up the report- so far the only damage we've spotted is that the front right rim is scratched, and dinged in one spot and there was grass stuck in there that made the tire go flat- I was going no more than 35 mph but from the neighborhood down to the bridge is a hill and that aided me in sliding uncontrolled Took the opportunity to play with my gun in the snow and try and do some artsy fartsy stuff with the contrast of the EBR and bright snow- This is my favorite shot of all that I took- Thats all I got for now-
Marketing, Accounting, management, Idk what MSAL and ITDS are but I'm going to assume the first one is military science? I'm taking marketing this semester too so if you need help i might be able to help some. If you're good with numbers accounting is easy just learning a format and more formulas with dollar signs in front of the numbers. Management. Lol I love management classes but they get tedious. Depending on what level it is i may be able to help if you need it. Idk though it's been a while since I've taken a management class...
Yea but we don't get rain in the summer... this is weird... we didn't get anything from that storm but there's another one coming... this is weird... it's june and it's raining...
I like it, but it definitely has its application, and shooting at targets past 100 yards is not that application. I mounted a Reflex II on the CQBeast, but I think I like the triangle reticle on the Reflex I. Maybe I'll get ahold of one of those and zero it in, too.
