Has more moon dust than the moon does. I'm serious. It's not where it's at that it is the problem. It's how deep it is. And I bitched about having lung problems from Iraq. I'm doomed here. I might as well just start smoking to make a protective layer of tar that I can cough up. And it just got cold here. Gets down to 30 degrees at night. And it's not the "cold part of the year." yay....

Anyway. I'm surviving and I have a groove that I'm in to make sure I can get through the next 6.5 months until I step off of the bus back at CPEN. Hope everyone has a good day.

Yeah, apparently the cold month here is fucking January. I'm down the road a piece at FOB WILSON; no Marines here, but plenty of Canadians. Can't promise you that the chow is any good, but I do have lots of Dunkin Donuts coffee!

I think it's Afghanistan. Although there is a theory that we just flew around in circles for 17 hours, and we're somewhere in NTC. Either that or Tattooine. It could be any of those at this point.

I "retired" when I was 18, so shortly thereafter. My legs will still do that, but I don't get the height I used to, and my upper body doesn't stay as straight as it once did.

i don't like being the center of attention. despite my wishes to have a private "ceremony" my BC insisted it be infront of the entire BN.... i work very well under pressure: IE: treating patients, handling emergencies, but standing in front of people IE: reup, promotion, boards... not so good. lol.

I'm sorry your having to go back. My son in law comes home next month, and the last 30 days of his deployments are always the worst for me. I worry more about "something happening" the last 30 days, than I do the whole time he's gone. Be as safe as you can be.
