Mind the Generation Gap
I went to play tennis the other day, and while I was walking to the tennis court there were 3 kids (each probably about 7) waiting for their tennis instructor to show up. They were playing, using their tennis rackets to shot monsters. The decided that their shadows would be the monsters and began to shoot their shadows. I laughed to myself because I remember when I was young, I too used a tennis racket as a pretend gun and fought my fair share of scum and villainy. Then, this was said:
"We killed all the monsters! We went up to level 2."
"No way! We killed them so fast, we're like...level 9."
Then I was sad...and walked away...
