Lip Sync. Progress 1First things first, we have to have audio to work from. So I was given the audio from Abbott and Costello's "Who's on first?" routine. I then cut it up in Adobe Audition to get the segment that I wished to animate. You can download the audio from the link and listen to the bit I cut out.Who's Paycheck I then begin to take the audio and bring it into Flipbook 5, an animation software, and print out the audio onto, what's called in the animation industry, an X-Sheet. I then break it down into the major and minor places where the pitch of the line hits it's highest and lowest points, seperate the sounds of the words on each frame so that I can go about gesturing and doodling out mouth shapes to match that sound.(A mirror is very handy here.) I also looked at a video of Abbott and Costello performing this routine and gestured out some key poses to hit for the acting. Who's On First? LINKED MEDIA
