Job update of sadness.

Didn't get the Tulsa job. Shame. Then again there's still a vague possibility, I suppose. When I applied for my current job they initially sent me an email saying I didn't get it by mistake. Not counting on having that happen, though.

I did eventually apply for the other job in Waco. I actually feel like I'm slightly less qualified for this one than the other one, but that doesn't mean anything. Maybe nobody cool even wants to go to Waco. We'll see what happens.

INTERESTS
"What are your interests?" "Well I like hittin guys over the head with a baseball bat. That's always good." "So sporting goods." "Yeah."
FAVORITE MUSIC
I like pretty much any kind of music. There are two things I can';t stand tejano music and bands like System of a Down where half the songs sound like guys hitting things with hammers and screaming. I especially like Will Smith and country music.
FAVORITE MOVIES
http://www.dvdaficionado.com/dvds.html?cat=1&id=datalaughing My favorite movies are stuff that is funny and quotable like Bad Boys Blade Bad Santa Bandits or the Big Lebowski if I may be a bit alliterative. I'm also a huge fan of Kevin Smith movies as well as Quentin Tarentino movies and the movies Maverick Ocean's 11 Shrek The Whole Nine Yards and of course some of the Star Trek movies (2 4 7 8 and10 to be exact.) Serenity !!!!!!!!!! YAY SERENITY!
FAVORITE TV SHOWS
Stargate SG-1 Futurama Babylon 5 Simpsons Firefly (What little of it there was) Star Treks TNG and DS9 Battlestar Galactica Yu-Gi-Oh! (Yeah I know it's a little kid's show. Shut your ass!) X-Men Justice League Teen Titans suddenly I've begun to see a pattern sci-fi and cartoons. I better add Newsradio Just Shoot Me Cheers. That is pretty representative of the kinds of TV I like.
FAVORITE BOOKS
I really love Michael Crichton's books as well as The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series and Douglas Adam's other books. Tom Clancy's stuff too. Other than that I like some classic US and British authors Twain Dickens Poe as well as Dumas.
FAVORITE VIDEO GAMES
Final Fantasy 7! Also GTA3 Ace Combat 04 & 05 Ghost Recon X-Men Legends 1 & 2 Smuggler's Run 1 & 2. Final Fantasy 10 & 10-2 aren't bad. Stuff like that.

Haha, noo, that is really just a joke because a lot of people asked me what the "man-test" was. If someone asks me out on a date, I'll more than likely say yes and get to know them.

I'm just out to have fun, not get serious about a relationship. :)

As a fan of the original, I absolutely loved the movie. However, I can't say it was all that good, or well-made.

DSchneider is right about Gaiman and Butcher. I also highly recommend The Name of the Wind if you haven't read that.

Just to check, we're starting off an idea in the Vodka Vat group that bears a lot of similarities to Fantasy Fights, except with actual participants instead of characters or historical figures... I'm fairly sure you won't mind us drawing the parallel to help others understand it, but it occurred to me I should check with you.
Also, if you wanted to be one of the combatants, that would rock.
