I just saw this posted in a Facebook status of some vapid tramp I knew at school.
Shame on you ENGLAND !!!!!! the only country where we have homeless without shelter, children going to bed without eating, elderly going without needed meds, mentally ill without treatment and british servicemen and women fighting without the best kit - yet we donate £50 million to the people of Haiti ... 99% of people... won't have the guts to copy and repost this...

The reply I just typed out: Oh, of course. The ineptitude of the Government is excuse enough to castigate the generosity of millions of people reaching out in someone else's time of need.
There is no shame in this. If you have a problem with the way our taxes are spent with regards to the underprivileged people of this country, take it up with the ones responsible. Don't villify people because they've taken the opportunity to help their fellow man when the opportunity arises.
