Blues Bros. marriage counsiling...
I just noticed in The Blues Brothers there is a profound, yet casually stated, line that says a lot about men and women. Matt "Guitar"Murphy says to his wife Aretha Franklin, "Hold on now, I'm the man, and you're the woman; and I'll make the decisions concerning my life." As he was saying it i thought it was pretty sexist, until he said that word "my". That made me realize, when he said that "he was the man, and she was the woman" he was not belittling her in anyway. He was simply stating a fact. That they are two separate entities, one male the other female.
