I play my bunk-card for 50 bunks...So it's been wet-snowing here in Jersey for the past 2 days... and guess who gets called into work with no ride?Yeah, totally me.... So while I get to sit in an empty store for over 6 hours, listening to my lazy manager.... I'm going hungry and insane all-in-one. And while I try to start some kind of conversation only to be told I talk too much, whilst she gets to complain that she had to walk a few blocks instead of driving like she normally does... But whatever, right? Then I find out I only got called in because I've "complained" about not getting enough hours.... Well sorry that 4-7 hours a week or 2-week period isn't what I deem as "part-time" work.... I mean I bust my ass doing the little bit of responsibilities she even gives me, I handle all customer questions and problems before they even reach her at the register... So she just has to process the new transaction and boom, nothing else. Whatever... I'm not going to be there too much longer, and when the Census starts up I should be making $18.75 an hour, with 30 hours a week... So... much better than the shitty $7.75 and barely any hours.... Here's to all bunk and b.s. that we all have to go through... |
