What I'm Reading, Vol. 13

Wow, I'm really behind on these. Here's what I've read since the last "What I'm Reading" entry in January:
Bear Portraits by Jill Greenberg
Asterios Polyp by David Mazzucchelli (graphic novel)
The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini
Chicken with Plums by Marjane Satrapi (graphic novel)
Delicate Edible Birds by Lauren Groff
The Woman Who Is Always Tan and Has a Flat Stomach: And Other Annoying People by Lauren Allison and Lisa Perry
The Lightning Thief, The Sea of Monsters, The Titan's Curse, and The Battle of the Labyrith by Rick Riordan (first four books of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series)
Wisdom by Andrew Zuckerman
The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown
Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury and Tim Hamilton (graphic novel)
City of Glass by Paul Auster; adaptation by Paul Karasik and David Mazzucchelli (graphic novel)
The Compass Rose by Gail Dayton

Currently reading:
The Flanders Panel by Arturo Perez-Reverte
Up Till Now by William Shatner

A few notes:
Asterios Polyp was wonderfully done. If you haven't read it yet, do so RIGHT NOW.
The Percy Jackson series has stolen all my free time. I am having so much fun with this series and am impatiently waiting for the last book to arrive in my hands. Also, the books are SO MUCH BETTER than the movie. Don't judge the books by their screen presence. I really urge you to read the books, especially if you enjoy mythology.
I was very disappointed with The Lost Symbol. It was so....blah. That's all I have to say about that.

So, what've you been reading? Good, bad, or ugly, I want to know!

In reply to Bookworm, #5:

I swear! I didn't delete you... I don't think we ever added each other as friends... we started watching each other and (that sounded naughty) and commenting, I don't think we ever really made it that far as to extend the request.

well figurative hair at least. You've must have seen a dozen pics of me since joining in the RvB fun.... I've had the same hair and beard for nearly 6 years, and I am sure I'll keep it for a few more years if not more.

But it was fun to relax after going none stop, 7 days a week, 9 hours a day, since Feb 8th. I am so glad those Olympics are over, now I can have days off again.

Not really at this point. I'm still always exhausted and tired from a lack of sleep and constant work.
