Weekend Surprise BonanzaThis weekend has been full of surprises for me. I got a whole bunch to cover and not a lot of time to do it in so lets get started…I really enjoy playing Modern Warfare 2 although the Emergency Drop Glitch can be super annoying. But that is not really ground breaking news... Just gonna take a little break from it until someone sends me an invite... LoL... I finally got Assassin’s Creed 2 and Left 4 Dead 2 on Ebay last week. Assassin's Creed 2 =   Period. Haven’t really touched L4D2 much yet but it seems much tougher than the first one.  Mr. Roberts on Facebook! Mr. Roberts was my high school band director. He is a great great man and he was/is one of my most, if not the most, valued role models in life outside of my family. (My Pops is number one.) Anyway I haven't seen or heard from Mr. Roberts in about 5 years. He retired from teaching two years after I graduated from high school. Anyway, yesterday I check my email and I notice I have a friend request from Mr. Roberts on Facebook!!! It was awesome! It was one of those few times I was actually excited to have a friend request. LoL... Wow I sound conceited. But no, seriously, I was really excited... and then I was a little freaked out. I was like oh shit. I just made Mr. Roberts my friend on facebook. It was a little weird for a second. But then I got excited again, I mean "Dude! Its Mr. Roberts!" how could anyone not be excited. LoL... Anyway, it made me think about how those certain teachers leave lasting impressions. Long story short I'm considering being a teacher again... More on that later… MissJackie's Contest So another awesome surprise when checked my RvB account today, some awesome people have nominated me to get drawn by the ever so fun and talented MissJackie. But seriously who wouldn't want to be drawn by MissJackie  Valentine's Day Surprise Birthday Party. My friend’s birthday is today (2/16) so we decided to give him a little surprise party this past weekend. It was great because he had no clue it was going on. The party started at 7pm but he got called into work last minute that day so he ended up showing up to his own party five hours late. But wait it gets better… So he was hard at work, you know tired from having to put up with people and crazy co-workers. It was just one of those days when he was ready to just go home and chill the hell out. No luck though, cause when he got home he finds a bunch of people starring at him. Half of us yelled out “Surprise!!!” And the other half yelled out “Happy Valentine’s Day!!” Now my friend is single so his initial response was “Fuck you all!” He thought we were just rubbing it in his face. But then he realized it was a surprise birthday party for him that happened to fall on Valentine’s day so he felt a little better. It was fun watching his expression change from resentment to gratitude in a matter of seconds. DJ Hero. At the party I was introduced to DJ Hero. It was definitely a fun party game. I will more than likely be visiting my friends in near future so I can get another crack at it. Other than that I hope everyone is super!! I hope you all had happy, fun and/or relaxing weekends!
