INTERESTS

I'm a fan of Anime but not so much that I'm an Otaku....I love going to school which is difficult for me. I have a talent in almost every subject except math a natural talent for medical sciences and foreign languages......I took 3 years of German two quatres of French one quarter of Spanish and am learning Japanese on my own and doing well. As I'm learning Japanses I am also trying to learn the culture. I was raised in a rather Germanic family (second generation German-American) and am quite used to German tradition; however Japanese customs and tradition I am not at all familiar with so I am trying to learn as I go. I enjoy nature especially dogs and horses. I have trained both dogs and horses and have a natural bond with them mainly because my understanding of animal hierarchy. I do enjoy video games but like i said I am not an Otaku. I play occasionally.

FAVORITE MUSIC

I will listen to almost anything really.....im not too terribly picky.....not a fan of blues or jazz though....i was raised on bagpipes (my father has piped for 30+ years) bluegrass boogie woogie big band country rock (from the 60's and 70's) and modern rock southern rock yeah pretty much anything but jazz and blues; however Clapton is the blues exception.

FAVORITE MOVIES

I mostly enjoy movies that span through the past such as Zulu which is about the battle of Isandhlwana and Rorkes Drift which was a battle in 1879...The largest number of Victoria Crosses ever awarded to a regiment for one action. The British with 150 men were defending a mission against 4 000 Zulu warriors and won the battle.....a great movie with Michael Caine's debut. Master and Commander which is about 1808 and the Scarlett Pimpernel which was 1790's.....so....I like many different movies from many different time periods and from different countries as well.

FAVORITE TV SHOWS

Gundam Wing Saiyuki Trigun Bebop YST OHSHC Monty Python's Flying Circus....the real thing....many people who claim to be Monty Python freaks never even heard of the show that came before the movies. I know each of the cast by name and by voice. I also enjoy MST3K I'm more of a fan of Joel than Mike but I will watch Mike if it's got a bunch of great one liners. Family Guy is great....basic humorous stuff.

FAVORITE BOOKS

To kill a Mockingbird The Great Gatsby Complete Works of E.A. Poe poetry by Robert Burns.....Twilight.....

FAVORITE VIDEO GAMES

LOZ: TP I rather enjoy Fire Emblem Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn and SSB Brawl and a few others here and there. I am rather retarded with a game controller mainly because I was not allowed to have them as a child. but my job is to stand behind my husband and tell him to do things around the apartment and his job is to ignore me and continue to play whatever he is playing at the moment.....I like Halo though.....the more the merrier and things get really heated when you get 8 competitive guys playing halo in the same apartment. videogames are for entertainment in more ways than one.
