BlazBlue: Calamity TriggerFinally gave in and got the game after I found a used version of it. As of right now, I can say it's alright. Good for 2D fighter beginners since the right analog is preset with special moves and the controls are very simple. Online play is pretty cool too since you can set up certain specifications for battle.Artwork is anime-based, which I don't mind too much. But really, I play games to get away from the plethora of anime out there. Gotta say, a lot of the plot elements in the game I find are way too similar to Guilty Gear, another 2D fighter developed by the same studio, and the story isn't as new and refreshing as some reviewers are saying it is. I don't mind BlazBlue, it's a fun game to play overall, but I still prefer Guilty Gear. Nothing like the original, right? After Overture though, I'm not sure how AkSys can pick up Guilty Gear again... I'll probably say more about it when I'm more awake |
