I would guesstimate that it cost me around $100NZ. I don't know how much materials cost in the US, so I can't give a good estimate for you in that regard. Also, some of the materials that I bought were on sale (such as the LEDs, which would be a bit more difficult to get cheaply when not around Christmas).
